Victoria Kravitz
Content Developer, Researcher, Writer

A design historian and arts management professional, Victoria never really got over the memory game of matching like things together. She believes that there is a right object for the right person and delights in finding that match. This extends to finding connections between people and ideas.

Victoria has worked with private and public decorative arts, fine arts, and design collections. After graduating from Green Mountain College, Victoria went on to direct decorative arts galleries in New York, complete her Masters in the History of Decorative Arts and Design from the Cooper-Hewitt Smithsonian Institution, and teach undergraduates design theory and history at Parsons.

A minimalist at heart, when her daughter was born, she sought to integrate her values of slow fashion, heirloom quality, and environmental responsibility into her daughter’s life. She started designIVspace as a platform to share her independent research, engage children in thinking about design, and continue contributing to design dialogues with the broadest spectrum of readers.
